In standard Odoo, partners are classified as either customers or vendors, but many B2B businesses need contacts who function in both roles.

Automatic Domain Filtering:


When enabled, the module automatically applies filters to ensure:

  • Customers appear in: Sales Orders, Invoices, Credit Notes, and Customer Payments
  • Vendors appear in: Purchase Orders, Bills, Refunds, and Vendor Payments
  • This prevents confusion and ensures proper contact classification in all transactions

How It Works:


Create a partner record and simply check the “Is Customer” and “Is Vendor” boxes. The contact will immediately become available in both customer and vendor operations. When generating a sale order or purchase order, only appropriate contacts appear in dropdown selections.
